An overall 79 — but Speaking misses its own minimum, so this profile scores 0 migration points (Competent English).
Updated for August 2025
Most PTE score guidance online is now out of date.
Before 7 August 2025, Superior English meant the same number in all four skills. It no longer does — each skill now has its own minimum, and Speaking's is the highest of the four. One weak skill can still cost you every English point.
What most sites still quote
79
the old minimum, applied to every skill alike
Still repeated across guides, forums and calculators that have not been updated. It remains correct for tests sat before 7 August 2025 — and wrong for every test sat since.

Four different minimums, one per skill. Each must be met on its own, and Speaking asks for the most by a wide margin.
